Zeke Fortenberry

Zeke Fortenberry is a true trial lawyer. He has handled more than 160 jury trials, which include some of the biggest cases in North Texas in recent years. In addition to his trial experience in the courtroom, he is known for teaching trial advocacy to other lawyers and law students. For several years, Zeke served as an adjunct faculty member at Southern Methodist University School of Law teaching trial advocacy. He also has lectured on trial techniques at the National Institute of Trial Advocacy. He is a frequent speaker and presenter at numerous continuing legal education seminars throughout Texas and the United States.

Zeke is active in his community. Zeke served as the chairman of the board for the Texas Young Lawyers Association, where he led over 25,000 young lawyers in Texas in public service to the legal professional and our local communities. Zeke served as the attorney advisor to a high school mock trial team in Plano, Texas, where he taught students the art of courtroom advocacy. He is a volunteer with the Children’s Advocacy Center, former board chair of the Men’s Advisory Group to New Friends New Life and a supporter of local law enforcement organizations. Zeke has also been recognized as a “Super Lawyer” and “Rising Star” in Texas by Super Lawyers for several years.
