When a person is attacked by a dog, the emotional trauma can be just as difficult as the mounting medical bills to pay of the medical treatment.  Unfortunately, many times the victim of a dog bite is a child who cannot escape or protect themselves. If you have been attacked by a dog, you may have a claim against the owner of the dog, the property owner, and the homeowners association.

My advice to anyone who has been bitten by a dog is to first seek the appropriate medical attention for your injuries.  If you are able, get the name and information of the dog owner. Finally, take pictures of the dog, your injuries, and the location where it happened.
